Push-Ups to Pinups: Calling all mamas

February 2, 2015momstownFamily LifeNo comments
Mamas, it can be so easy to put ourselves on the back burner so we can look after everyone else. This is never more true after you’ve had a baby. If you’re ready to put some focus on you and your health, Aspire Fitness’ Push-ups to Pinups program might just be the thing you’ve been looking for.

Mamas, it can be so easy to put ourselves on the back burner so we can look after everyone else. This is never more true after you've had a baby. That's why I decided in May 2014 after ten years of pregnancy, nursing, working and building a business from the ground up to give myself the gift of self-care. As women, we tend to put ourselves on the back burner a whole helluva lot. Even if you have the most supportive spouse there is always someone to take care of other than ourselves. But this May, as my husband and I sat down to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary, I told him that I was starting something new on the coming Monday. And that I was terrified. But determined. Those two things have always served me well. I made a conscious decision to put ME FIRST so I could give back in a healthier way. Mamas, there is nothing wrong with putting yourself first. Your health is important for your kids and family. For me, it was not about how I looked but how I felt. I wanted to feel strong. I wanted to feel like I could do something for me. Thank you to the entire Aspire Fitness crew of Jason, Jeff, and Erica who are AMAZING, educated fitness professionals. And to all who followed my story and cheered me on. Read more about my story below.
